Adoración Teresa Gutiérrez – Dory

October 29, 1945 – March 5, 2023

On March 5, our beloved Dory went to join her heavenly angels.  She spent 33 days at JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL, after suffering two Cardiac Arrests and along with other complications, she went to eternal rest early on a Sunday afternoon.  Her entire beloved family was by her side that day, including several visits by close friends during her long stay in the hospital.  Dory had a smile that captured people's hearts and she will be remembered fondly by so many.  It is impossible to state the grief and sadness of losing her, but our family is so blessed to have called her wife, mother, and grandmother for all these years.  May she rest peacefully in God's grace for all of eternity.

Dory was born in Cuba, immigrated at 15 years old, lived and raised a family in the cities of North Miami, Margate, and Boynton Beach, Florida.  Dory is survived by her husband Manuel Angel Gutiérrez, Manny , who sat by her side every single day in the hospital.  She was a loving mother to her son Joe, his wife Lisa and their son Chase, and her son John and his wife Stacy.  Dory spent her career working for car dealerships as a bookkeeper and controller, making lifelong friends everywhere she worked.

In her honor, we will be celebrating her heavenly passing on Saturday April 1 .
