Alberto, or as many people knew him by, Roberto Gonzalez, age 74, of Boynton Beach, Florida, born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026.

A visitation will be held at Boynton Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a prayer service at 11:30 a.m. Following the visitation, Roberto will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

Roberto was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He expressed his love through action—always fixing, building, planting and lending a helping hand to his children and those he cared for. His love language was service, and he found joy in working with his hands.

Known for his strength and discipline, Roberto took pride in working hard, staying active, lifting heavy, and exercising. His strong presence, work ethic, and quiet devotion to family will be deeply missed.

Roberto is survived by his loving wife, Toña; his daughters, Chely, Lili, and Mari; his sons, Luis, Melvin, and Edwin; As well as his sister Luz and his brother Carmelo .
