Al DeMarco, age 90, of Boynton Beach, FL, died Tuesday morning, April 20, 2010. He was born in New London, CT, moved to Coral Gables, FL, in 1946, and to Boynton Beach in 1987. Al served as an usher at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Palm Beach for many years. He devoted his entire life to Community Services. Al was appointed as a Trustee for the United States Bankruptcy Court and Receiver for the Dade County Circuit Court for over 20 years. He was a member of the Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Commercial Society of Realtors. Al was a commercial realtor since 1982 and was a founder of Consumer Credit Counseling Services.
He is survived by his wife Danielle DeMarco; his three daughters; two step-daughters; a step-son; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one sister.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, April 30, 2010, at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Palm Beach, with the Rev. Frank Lechiara, Pastor, officiating. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Quail Ridge Country Club in Boynton Beach.
