Alice Rodi, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 11 th surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by Stephen Rodi, her loving husband of 61 years, her parents Joseph and Stella, and her sisters Mary Rose and Joanne.
Alice was born October 30,1934 in St. Clairsville Ohio,and after completing her schooling, she moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she enjoyed a successful career in the dental field. Shortly after moving to Cleveland, she met her loving husband, Stephen and theyraised three wonderful children. In 1989, Steve and Alice moved to Boynton Beach, Florida to begin their retirement and be closer to family. Alice enjoyed working with people and resumed a part time career working as a top sales associate for J.C. Penney.
Alice was a devoted wife and passionate mom and grandma. She was an integral part of all their lives, and she never missed an opportunity to celebrate each and every occasion and achievement– no matter how big or small.Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every opportunity to share time with them.
She was an active member of the Delray Beach Elk's Club where she enjoyed socializing and participating in fundraising activities. She enjoyed golf and she and Steve could routinely be found at the links with a close-knit group of friends followed by refreshments on the 19 th hole.
Alice will be remembered by those who loved her for her deep commitment to family, her devotion to the Catholic faith, her seemingly endless energy, and her selflessness. Additionally, Alice made an incredible chocolate cake that her family enjoyed for each birthday. She was quite skilled in the kitchen with a few famous Polish recipes handed down from her mother which she mastered over the years including her stuffed cabbage and Christmas cookies.
Alice is survived by her sister, Blanche, and by her three children: Debi Rodi; Joseph Rodi (Rita); Caroline Momper (Mark); and three grandchildren: Stephen Rodi (Angela), and Eric and Marisa Momper.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the Trustbridge Boca Raton Hospice Facility in Alice's memory.

A memorial mass service for Alice is planned to take place on Saturday January 22 nd at 1:00 PM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. 1000 Lantana Rd. Lantana Florida 33462.
