IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andrew Richard
Loguercio, Jr
October 12, 1946 – November 27, 2025
Andrew Richard LoGuercio, Jr., known lovingly as Andy, was born in New York City on October 12, 1946, to Lena Sanchez and Andrew LoGuercio, Sr. He spent his early years in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn before the family later moved to Queens, where he graduated from Francis Lewis High School.
After high school, Andy proudly served in the United States Air Force—a commitment he carried with honor throughout his life. Following his military service, he completed a five-year apprenticeship with Plumbers Local Union #1 and continued his education at the Mechanics Institute in Manhattan, studying mechanical drafting and architectural planning. For many years, Andy lived in upstate New York, commuting into the city to run his plumbing business. In 1990, he moved to Florida, where he continued working as a Plumbing & Pool Contractor, often alongside family. He loved his trade and took great pride in teaching others the skills he had mastered.
Andy is survived by his devoted wife, Beverly and his brother, Mikey; and was predeceased by his sister, Laura, in 2002. He is also survived by his children Sharon, Tiffany, Christina, Andrew, and Jenny; and his stepdaughters, Annemarie and Georgia. Andy was a proud grandfather to Phillip Jr., Justin Paul, Abby, David Jr., Alyssa, Dylan, Rylie, and Leon, and was blessed with great-grandchildren Jace, Phillip, and Gabriella.
He retired in his mid seventies. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson Leon, who he adored. Even through illness in his later years, he fought to maintain his independence and dignity. His strength, love, and generosity will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
