Obituary


Tony was born in Oceanside, New York and grew up in Hempstead, New York.  He graduated from Uniondale High School and after graduation served in the United States Navy.  Tony married Lorraine in February, 1963 and they have 2 children, Mary and Lorraine.  In 1972, the family moved to Colonial Estates in Boynton Beach, Florida and Tony began working with Florida Power and Light.  During his younger years, Tony was avid bowler and golfer and enjoyed many other sports.  When he worked for FP&L, he started from the bottom, became lineman and went into management before retiring in 1996.  In that same year, he became a proud grandfather to Meredith.  After retiring, he started traveling by motorhome and joined the Family Motor Coach Association.  While in FMCA, he served as wagon master and president of the local chapter as well as Southeast Area Vice President.

There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 3 -7 pm. A funeral mass will be held 12:30 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach. Burial will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth at 2:15 pm, LANE 5.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the St. Jude's Children Hospital or Peggy Adams Animal Rescue in West Palm Beach, Florida.
