Mr. Hemley, age 61, died Friday afternoon, January 28, 2011. He had been a resident of Boynton Beach, FL, for the past five years coming from White Bear Lake, MN. Bruce graduated from Fairfax High School (1967); served honorably in the US Navy (1969-1971) in Hawaii; and married his wife Barbara, March 24, 1973, in Sylmar, CA. They became best friends and soul mates.
Bruce had such a love and passion for life and embraced everyday with a smile. He loved boating, fishing, racing cars, motorcycles, and speed. Bruce was the owner of X-treme Auto Trenz in Maplewood, MN, for five years.
Survivors include his wife Barbara; son Jason and his fiancé Jenny of Las Vegas, NV; his daughter Sara of Boynton Beach; and his sister Carol Joyce Lambert of Las Vegas, NV. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Mildred Hemley.
A memorial celebration of life will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, February 3rd, on the beach at Deerfield Beach, FL, across from the Embassy Suites hotel on A1A. Further services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 5th, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Mahtomedi, MN.
