Carlos Alberto Perdomo Sosa, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He was born on March 18, 1934, in Espinal, Tolima, Colombia. Carlos was a devoted husband, father, and family man whose life was defined by hard work, perseverance, and a deep love of learning.

He was married to Aurora Luna, whom he wed in Bogotá, Colombia. Together they shared a loving marriage and raised their family over 45 years, until her passing on July 20, 2004. Their union was the foundation of a close and enduring family.

A hardworking entrepreneur, Carlos believed strongly in self-reliance and lifelong growth. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing tennis and remained active in both body and mind throughout his life. He was a lifelong learner and enthusiastic reader, with a particular enjoyment of crossword puzzles. He greatly loved soccer and was a devoted supporter of Santa Fe. He also found joy and comfort in classical music and spending time watching television.

Carlos is survived by his sister Olga Lucia Perdomo, his brothers Jorge Daniel Perdomo and Jesús Enrique Perdomo, and his six children: Luz Helena, Carlos Augusto, Daniel Fernando, Miguel Darío, Ángela Beatriz, and Olga Patricia. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, curiosity, and quiet strength that will be remembered by all who knew him.

His life was long, full, and meaningful, and he will be deeply missed.
