A beautiful and faithful follower of God passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2023. Carmen was born in Puerto Rico on January 17, 1941 and moved to FL at the age of 14. Carmen had a smile for everyone she met. She was a woman who lived her life devoted to God, family and her friends.  She is predeceasd by her husband Lolo Martis and survived by daughters Carmen Lopez, and Miriam (Midian) Diaz;  son, Nelson Martis; granddaughters Elissa (Rudy) Martis-Arjon, Ileana (Joshua) Wolfort and grandson Ricky Martis, brothers Jose Rivera, Elpidio Rivera, and Carlos Rivera along with several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Monday, December 11, 2023 at Boynton Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Delray Beach followed by interment at Palm Beach Memorial Park, Lantana.
