Charles (Charlie) Bohmert Jr., 85, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 after a long, hard fight with cancer. His loving wife Jane Patricia Bohmert was by his side. Charlie was born November 28, 1931, the second of 4 children to the late Charles E. Bohmert Sr. & Frances O'Callaghan Bohmert in Mamaroneck, New York. Charlie graduated from Villanova University in 1953.  Charlie had a love of life that was felt by all who had the privilege of meeting him. He enjoyed his family and loved nothing more than a great round of golf. A scratch golfer in his day, he loved the comradery of the course.

Charlie is survived by his wife Jane of 58 years, son, Charlie (& Beth) Bohmert, daughter, Patty (& Steve) Kaufman, daughter, Jeanne Kennedy, son, Stephen (& Jackie) Bohmert and daughter Kristin (& Chris) Palumbo as well as his 13 loving grandchildren, Kerry (& Abe) Gibson, Christie & Grant Bohmert, Allison, Kevin & Edward Kaufman, Neill & Paige Kennedy, Brian, Kathleen and Bridget Bohmert & Julia and Sophia Palumbo and his sisters Betty Kelly and Mary Alice McHugh. Preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Betzig & brothers-in-law, Jack Betzig, Jack Kelly & Donald McHugh.

The Funeral Service for Charles E. Bohmert Jr. will be: Friday January 13, 2017, 9:15am, St. Thomas More Catholic Church. 10935 South Military Trail, Boynton Beach, Florida 33436.  In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to Villanova University on behalf of Charles E. Bohmert Jr.
