Charles "Charlie" Flores, of Boynton Beach, Florida went to our Lord, on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on March 8, 1970 to Gregoria and Juan Flores (both deceased), Charlie early on demonstrated a keen interest and understanding of all things mechanical. Whether it was a household appliance, or a muscle-car transmission that needed rebuilding, there was almost nothing "mechanical" that he couldn't repair or rebuild.

But as much as he loved to "tinker", he loved his family and friends so much more. Whether he worked with you, for you, or grew up with you- he was someone who would always be there for you.

Whether as a dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Brother or friend he left a lasting impression on the lives of all those he touched. His life focused on the kids: Charles Flores Jr., Chantel Flores, Kayla Littles, Brooke Flores, and Alexander Flores. Beyond his immediate family, no one was ever more closely loved by him than his siblings: Norma Flores (deceased), Carmen M. Concepcion, Jose Flores, Victor Flores, Migdalia Flores-Perez and Jenny Morales. He also cared deeply about his grandchildren, Charisma and Lex, and all of his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Over time, there were some special ladies in his life: Shannon Flores (estranged wife), Shelley Freytag, Sarah Gordon and Yadira Velez-Sierra.

To his family and friends he was "bigger-than-life," a "gentle giant," who cared deeply about people, and trying to help. He was fun loving and kind, with an outgoing personality that you always wanted to be around. And, yes, he did like to party! And, by the way, he was a "gigantic" Dallas Cowboys and Florida State Seminoles fan.

Thanks to all of you, especially the management and employees of Astro Air, Boynton Beach, for your kindness and caring during this difficult time.

To all who read this, we encourage you to celebrate Charlie's life by remembering his laughter, his kindness, his warmth and how much you all meant to him. And. Until we meet up with him again- MAY GOD HOLD CHARLIE IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND.
