Charles Dean Lewis died at age 83 at Bethesda Hospital East on Saturday April 22, 2017. Dean, as he is known by his friends and family, died from complications of pneumonia.

Dean is survived by his wife Helen Mae; daughter, Deanna Mae Lazzara and her husband Raymond & family; and brother, Duane Lewis and his wife Char and family. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sylvia Jean Fletcher in 2010

Dean grew up in Burlington, Colorado, son of John and Evelyn Lewis; Married Helen Mae Fruhling from Flagler, CO; celebrated 50 years and moved to Grand Junction Colorado. He was a Northwestern Mutual Special Agent for 40 years. Dean and Helen traveled the USA and visited all 50 states and other countries.

Dean was in the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, member of Burlington High School letterman club, Sigma Chi Fraternity, ROTC Colorado A&M, Fort Collins CO, US Border Patrol Agent Department of Justice, US Army Veteran 82 ^nd Airborne Fort Bragg, NC, Sons of the American Revolution, Member NRA, and Judicial Watch, Dean loved all sports, watching basketball, football, and participating in bowling, Golf and Dancing.

Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Burlington, Colorado.
