Of Lake Worth, FL and formerly of Whitestone, NY passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 with family by his side. He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army and after the war worked for General Motors until he moved to Florida in 1979. He then worked at Schumacher Buick until 1992. Charles is predeceased by his beloved wife, Lillian. He is survived by his children Barbara (Steve) Murphy, Charlene (Peter) Joel, Jon (Mia) Neser, Lillian (Dan) Shortley, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, sister Barbara (Richard) Pruyn and cousin Miriam Frey. He leaves behind a wealth of hand painted art for his family to cherish. Friends may visit the family at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach on Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm. The burial will take place on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 10:00am at Boynton Beach Memorial Park.
