Charles Wesley White was born on September 23, 1956, in Mobile, Alabama and passed away May 7, 2019, at home in Boynton Beach, Florida. He is the son of Charles Alvah White and Patsy Jean White. In life, Charles was known by family and friends by his preferred name, Charlie.
Charlie graduated from LV Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas in 1975. After graduation, he joined the US Navy and served as a chef until 1977.
Charlie had an active career. He operated multiple businesses of his own and also worked for large home improvement companies in a variety of roles. He was an active Mason and was appointed as Worshipful Master. Charlie served his fellow Masonic brothers with passion and an open heart.
Charlie had a caring and compassionate nature and when you came in contact with him you ended up being better for it. Because of this, he was well known in his community, and loved by neighbors and many friends.
Family meant everything to Charlie. He is survived by his wife, Evangeline Santiago White, and stepmother, Elinor Bynum Hartman White. He is the father of Casey Christian White whose wife is Victoria (Vickie), and grandfather to their children, Emilia (Emmy) Elizabeth (15), Charles Aiden (13) and Spencer Michael (9). He is the father of Adam Christian White whose wife is Brooke, and grandfather to their children, Gabriel Christian (15) and Wesley Christian (10). He is the brother of Doland White, Cynthia White King and Gary White. He is the stepbrother to Jennifer Kobayashi and Tim Hartman. He is survived by loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews and a huge family in the Philippines.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at 10:00 A.M.
Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2019, at 11:30 A.M. - Lane 3
