Obituary
Cherald L. Barlage, 94 of Boynton Beach, FL formerly of Champaign, IL passed away on December 20, 2011 at Barrington Terrace Assisted Care, Boynton Beach, FL. Mrs. Barlage was born January 16, 1917 in Edgewood, IL, a daughter to Ivy and Oscar Smith. After moving to Boynton Beach in 1988, Mrs. Barlage spent many hours volunteering in the Gift Shop at Bethesda Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen (Mark) McCloskey of Lake Worth, FL, a son Philip (Barbara) Barlage of Boynton Beach, FL, a brother, Loren Smith, Atwood, IL, a granddaughter, Pam Brosnihan of Lake Worth, FL and a grandson Michael Barlage of Boynton Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis G. Barlage.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Thursday, December 22, 2011 at St. Mark Church, Boynton Beach with entombment to follow at Boynton Beach Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265 or Crohns's and Colitis Foundation/Honor and Memorial gifts, P.O. Box 1245, Albert Lea, MN 56007-9976.
