Christine Irene Bouchard Garamella 94 of Boynton Beach, FL passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Born in Caribou, Maine, Christine was a Registered Nurse before she married Dr. Joseph J. Garamella and moved to Minneapolis, MN. She raised 5 children and is survived by Dr. Joseph Garamella and 3 of her children Paula C Tiner, Todd J Garamella and Tonja M Garamella. Survivors also include 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. Christine lived her life with unwavering passion for her faith in the Catholic Church. She was passionate about her beliefs and lived with the integrity of her values. Christine took great pride in everyday activities. She took nothing for granted and made good use of all her God-given gifts. She prided herself on being a Registered Nurse, Cooking, Sewing, Needlepoint, Singing, Ballroom Dancing, Gardening, Directing Church Choir, and Playing the Organ. She loved animals, especially her dogs. She enjoyed riding and showing horses, driving cross country and maintained a beautiful home. After a full day, she always managed to look fresh with her hair and lipstick in place. Christine faced challenges with macular degeneration and Alzheimer Disease, yet never gave up; making an impact on all those she met. She has been a resident of Morse Life in West Palm Beach, FL since September 2014 where she was very well care for and loved! She will be deeply missed! Christine loved to socialize and shared her life, her heart and her prayers. May she rest in peace and find love & joy in reuniting with everyone on the other side.
A Memorial Service will be held 11am Friday July 1, 2016 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made in memory of Christine Irene Bouchard Garamella to the Alzheimer Association or EWTN.
