Claudia Lynn Alles, born Claudia Liptak, passed peacefully on August 30,2013 surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Aliquippa, PA, Claudia called Pittsburgh her home for more than 60 years. Along with her love of all things Pittsburgh, she was an avid reader and lover of music and the performing arts. Family and friends will remember her for her generosity, intelligence, and quick wit. She donated to numerous charities and was even known to give the shirt off her back, you know who you are. Claudia is survived by her children, Chris DeLuca, Jane Early, Beau Alles, Audra Mandler, and her four grandchildren Jordan, Miles, Taylor and Logan Early. A private memorial is planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Holy Family Institute.
