Obituary

On Sunday, February 2, 2020, Colette Irene (Boas) Mannes, of Lake Worth Florida,  passed away peacefully at the age of 81. Colette was born in Fall River, Massachusetts and has been a resident of Florida for the last 20 years.

Colette is survived by her daughter, Lynn Sabra (Doug) and Kevin Mannes (Paula).  She was a grandmother to four grandchildren, Gregory, Jennifer (Jeff), Scott (Caley), and Nicole (AJ) and "GiGi" to seven great-grandchildren, Colton, Avery, Riley, Sawyer, Abigail, Eli, and Bristol.  Colette also had two sisters, Joan Harshman (Ronald), Madeleine O'Reagan (Butch) and one brother, Ernest Boas (Jean).  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E Mannes.

"You were an angel in the shape of our Mom.  When we fell down you'd be there holding us up.  Spread your wings as you go, and when God takes you back we'll say, Hallelujah, You're home."

Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, February 5 at Boynton Memorial Chapel. A church service will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 10:00 am at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church located at 10935 S Military Trail in Boynton Beach. Guests are invited to gather immediately following the church service at the home of her granddaughter, Jennifer located at 6707 S Calumet Circle, Lake Worth.   A private family burial will take place at a later date.
