Constance "Connie" Buckley was a wonderfully amazing wife, mother, sister and friend. She left the world unexpectedly on March 26th, 2024.

She was born to Charles Edward and Genevieve Diringer on July 2nd 1949 in Rochester, New York. At the age of 8 years old her family relocated to Lighthouse Point, Florida, where she met her high school sweetheart and eventual husband while attending Pompano Beach High School.

After high school Connie married William "Bill" Buckley on August 26, 1968. Together they had 3 children, Melanie, Patrick and Katie. While Bill was in the Coast Guard they spent the beginning of their marriage in Boston but eventually life would bring them back to South Florida where they would eventually settle in Lake Worth, Florida.

Connie and Bill enjoyed joining a couples bowling league which she continued onto a women's bowling league after retiring. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and painting. She would often create small trinkets that people could take home with them after the annual Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve parties they hosted. She enjoyed hosting parties in their Lake Worth home for 35 years. Family, friends and neighborhood kids could often be found swimming and enjoying snacks Connie would serve up. She created many great memories sitting around the kitchen table and in the living room listening to music, laughing and having great conversations. Connie spent over 30 years working in banking as a personal banker. She made lifelong friends while working for Bank Of America.

Connie is survived by her husband Bill, daughter and son-in-law Melanie and Fred Haney and their son Fred, son and daughter-in-law Patrick and Angela Buckley and their daughter Alyssa, daughter Katie Buckley and her partner Charles Andrews, her sister Nancy Ziegler and sister and brother-in-law Judy and Gary Smith and many nieces and nephews.

A service for Connie will be held at St. Mathews in Lake Worth, Florida on Tuesday April 2nd at 10:00 AM.

Connie will be laid to rest at South Florida National Cemetery at 9:30 am on Monday, April 8, 2024.
