IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dale Ray
Ford
December 14, 1958 – February 9, 2026
Dale Ray Ford, born December 14, 1958, passed away on February 9, 2026.
Dale was born on an Army base in Little Rock, Arkansas, and was raised in Mississippi and North
Florida. His life experiences shaped him into a man who could talk to anyone and connect with
people from all walks of life. No matter what he had been through, Dale was always smiling and
always showed kindness to others. He believed in giving, even when he had nothing himself.
Dale had a lighthearted and humorous side that made people feel instantly comfortable. He loved
giving everyone nicknames, often ones only he could come up with, and he was known for making
up his own words along the way. Years ago, Dale even decided to rename himself "Tony," and
from that point on, many people knew him simply by that name. His playful spirit and unique way
of expressing himself brought laughter to countless conversations.
He was an avid reader who stayed up to date on current events and sports, especially football.
Dale cared deeply about maintaining his fitness and encouraged those around him to do the same,
always trying to lift people up and motivate them to be better.
Above all, Dale loved his family. He was a devoted father and a proud grandfather who deeply
loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his only son, Nick Ford; his sister, Debra Udell; his grandchildren, Gavin Ford
and Austin Ford; his niece, Jenessa Green; his nephew, Lance Green; and his former wife and
mother of his child, Lisa Cobuzzi.
Dale Ray Ford, also lovingly known to many as Tony, will be remembered for his generous heart,
his humor, his love of conversation, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome. His legacy
lives on through his family and the many lives he touched.
