Daniel Lucian Cammarano Jr. passed away on September 10, 2019, at Wellington Hospital, after a long battle with ulcerative colitis. His loving wife Constance along with his loving family was with him at the time of his passing.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife Constance of almost 60 years, his daughter, Donna (Kevin) McCann and son, Daniel (Marybeth) along with his grandchildren Erin, Shannon and Daniel Val. His brother Joseph (Nancy) Cammarano along with many loving nieces and nephews. Daniel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him.

Daniel was an educator for the New York City Public Schools for over 30 years. After retirement from his teaching career in New York, he continued to work for the Broward County School District in Plantation, Florida, as a teacher for several years. After completing his teaching career, he worked for Home Shopping Network as a General Manager, and an Operations Manager in the MRI field.

He was an avid horse racing handicapper who enjoyed the occasional day at the racetrack. His other hobbies included golf, landscaping, art, music, travel, road trips, reading, and watching football and baseball. Most of all, he enjoyed dancing with his wife, as they were champions of the Lindy.

He celebrated his Italian heritage by enjoying the foods, pastas, wines and all of the beloved staples of his Italian culture. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife Connie and his children and grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019, at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

A Cryptside Service will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
