With profound sorrow and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Daniel Steven Darling, who left this world far too soon on February 5, 2026, at the age of 20.

Born on November 18, 2005, in Wellington, Daniel brought light and laughter into the lives of everyone who knew him from the very beginning. He was a graduate of The King's Academy, where he formed lasting friendships and built the foundation for his bright future. Daniel was continuing his education at Palm Beach State College, pursuing a degree in Engineering with determination and excitement for what lay ahead.

Daniel was quick-witted and had a natural ability to make others smile. His humor, paired with a deeply compassionate heart, made him someone people gravitated toward. He was especially supportive of his family, always present, always encouraging, and always ready with a joke or a listening ear.

He had a love for life's simple and meaningful moments. Daniel enjoyed playing with his beloved dog, Bro, lifting weights with his brother, Nick, scuba diving, cooking meals for those he cared about, and spending time gaming and playing billiards with friends. He loved animals deeply and had a special connection with them. As a lifeguard, he demonstrated his sense of responsibility and desire to protect and help others—a reflection of who he was at his core.

Daniel is survived by his loving parents, Steven and Janis Darling; his devoted brother, Nicholas Darling; and his cherished grandparents, aunt, uncles and cousins. He was a treasured son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend whose love will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Though Daniel's time here was far too short, the impact he made in 20 years will last a lifetime. His laughter, kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.

He will be missed beyond measure and loved beyond words.
