Age 46 of Lake Worth, died Monday, May 7, 2012. He served his country from 1982-1987 in the U.S. Navy. Daniel was a fire fighter for the City of Miami Beach Fire Department since 1989 and a S.W.A.T. Medic for the Miami Beach Police Department since 2000. He enjoyed surfing, kayaking and hiking.
Daniel was predeceased by his father, Frederick Kokaram. He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Kokaram and her mother, Candace Kokaram of Lake Worth; his mother, Hendrika DeMilta of New York; and brother, Victor Kokaram of New York.
A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am Friday, May 11, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Miami Beach with interment to follow at 1:15pm at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
