Dan graduated from Ag School and the University of Mass (Amherst) before joining the Army and serving during the Korean War. After being Honorable Discharged, Dan pursued his career in agriculture, eventually becoming the Regional Director for Agricultural Goods across the Caribbean and South America for Esso Company. He continued in the industry throughout his life and held many different titles and positions including a consultant for Big Bend and Keyplex companies.

Dan had two true loves in his life. First was his loving wife Barbara and second was his family. He was a proud father and grandfather that loved to share in his family's successes in life. He loved to spend time on the water fishing with the ones he loved and his true happiness was woodworking in his shop, especially with his two proteges, Nick and Tyler. He built everything from furniture to toys and loved gifting them to friends and family.

His love, guidance, and experience that he shared with his family will forever be remembered.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach.
