It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dante C DiCandito, Jr. on August 8, 2023 at the age of 80. He passed peacefully in Trustbridge Hospice with his family by his side.

Dante was born in Providence, RI on May 18,1943 the son of the late Dante C. DiCandito, Sr. and Maria (DiLorenzo) DiCandito. He attended Providence Street Elementary School and West Warwick High School where he met the love of his life Carol (Robillard) DiCandito. They married in November of 1963 and would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this year.

He worked for 44 years at the former Roger's Paint Service Store and was known as "Dan the Paint Man".

Danny and his wife along with their family moved to South Florida 20 years ago where he enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery and being involved in all family events.

He enjoyed a good restaurant and traveling and being with his family and friends. He was an extremely kind man who would help anyone especially when it came to people who needed medical guidance.

He attended St. John the Baptiste Church in West Warwick, RI where he was an avid volunteer and then St. Thomas More in Boynton Beach, FL. He was a very faith-filled man who prayed daily.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Carol, his only daughter, Caroline Kossak and her husband John, his grandson Vincent Kossak and his wife Yesenia and his great grandson Vincent Kossak, Jr.

His funeral will be held on Aug. 14, 2023 from the Boynton Memorial Chapel with a mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas More Church Boynton Beach, FL at 10 am. He will be buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Warwick, RI.
