"Jim"

Of Boynton Beach, FL formerly of North Haledon, NJ and Lake St. Catherine, Poultney, Vermont, died Monday, September 29, 2008 in Morristown, NJ surrounded by his family. Jim was born December 19, 1919 in Scranton, PA and grew up in Moscow, PA. He was a Navy veteran serving during WWII in the Pacific Campaign. After the war, Jim came to New Jersey and started work at Paterson Boiler and Tank. In 1961 he started his own business, Steel Plate Fabricators in Paterson, NJ and retired in 1974. He was a member of North Haledon Fire Co. #1, serving as Vice President. He was also a member of the American Legion Post in Boynton Beach, FL. Jim loved fishing and hunting and was known as "Mr. Fix It" especially at Pine Tree Village, Boynton Beach, FL.
He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Margaret; his brother, Walter Price Jr.; and sister, Helen De Witt.
Jim was a devoted father to twin sons, Howard J. and his wife Bonnie of Wayne, NJ and Harold J. and his wife Susan of Blairstown, NJ. He also leaves four grandchildren, Lisa Partlow, Allison Kruck, James Price and Douglas Price; four great-granddaughters, Margaret and Virginia Partlow and Julia and Lara Kruck; and two sisters, Anne Boulanger and Betty Severe.
A visitation will be held 4:30pm to 8pm Friday, October 3, 2008 at Boynton Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:15am, Saturday, October 4, 2008 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Boynton Beach. Entombment with military honors will take place at Boynton Beach Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
