Mr. Silva was a 31 year Air Force veteran and a past Commander of American Legion Post 164, Boynton Beach.
He is survived by his wife Elaine of Boynton Beach; his son, David Silva, Jr., of Boynton Beach; three daughters, Jackie Silva of Pawtucket, RI, Diane Violo of Cranston, RI, Donna Lynn Silva of Pawtucket, RI; two stepsons, Barry Kessler of Seeconk, MA, Wayne Kessler of Westwood, MA; two stepdaughters Rhonda Kessler of Smithfield, RI, Lori Krawetz of Lincoln, RI; his brother Paul Silva of Smithfield, RI; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2012, at American Legion Post 164, 571 West Ocean Avenue, Boynton Beach, FL.
