Derek James Martin, 27, of Boynton Beach, FL died Thursday, April 18 from an apparent accidental drug overdose.

Derek was born August 6, 1991, in Carrollton, Texas. As a young child, he lived in Minnesota and moved to Florida when he was 6 years old, where he remained a Florida-loving resident until his death.

Derek was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He touched so many lives in a positive and loving way.

There will be a memorial service Saturday at 1:00 pm and a visitation Friday 5-7 pm at Boynton Memorial Chapel.

The family is requesting memorials in lieu of flowers.
