Deryle Summerall Rodgers, 83, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026. She was born on February 11, 1943, in Augusta Georgia to Aurey and Gene Summerall.
Deryle was a successful real estate agent for more than 25 years, spending much of her career serving clients throughout the Atlanta market. Her professionalism, integrity, and genuine care for people earned her the respect of colleagues and the lasting appreciation of countless families she helped find a place to call home.
In addition to her career in real estate, Deryle was a gifted piano instructor who shared her love of music with many students over the years. She found great joy in teaching, encouraging, and inspiring others through music.
A devoted woman of faith, Deryle was a faithful member of St Marks Catholic Church in Boynton Beach, Florida, where she found strength, fellowship, and spiritual guidance.
Above all, Deryle treasured her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Ken Rodgers; her three sons, Chip Renno and his wife, Tammy, Rob Renno, and Kevin Renno and his wife, Beth. She also leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Trey Renno and his wife, Brooklyn; Drew Renno and his wife, Emma; Jonathan Renno; and Ryan Renno. Deryle was blessed with four great-grandchildren: Collier and Riley Renno, daughters of Trey and Brooklyn, and Graham and Silas Renno, sons of Drew and Emma. Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in each of them. Additional family in Augusta includes her sister Genie Johannsen along with nieces, Allison Parrish and Ashley Fisher and their families,
Deryle also leaves behind a beloved blended family as well, Ken and Tara Rodgers, LK and Rita Rodgers, and Jeff and Kellie Rodgers and three more grandchildren, Bo, Darby and Ken, Jr.
Deryle will be remembered for her kind heart, fun loving spirit, unwavering faith. and the love she shared so freely with her family, friends, students, and everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy will continue to live on in the lives she touched.
A visitastion will be held from 11am to 12pm Friday, July 24, 2026 at Boynton Memorial Chapel followed by a 12:30pm cryptside service at Boynton Beach Mausoleum.
