DOLORES M. BROWN
Dolores M. Brown, 85, passed away Sept. 5, 2009. A longtime resident of Boynton Beach, FL, Mrs. Brown and her late husband, Arthur D. Brown, relocated to Florida following their retirement. She was born and raised in Raritan, NJ, and after graduating from Somerville High School, NJ, went to work for the Bell Telephone Co. Mrs. Brown worked as a switchboard operator for Mack Trucks Inc. in New Jersey for 25 years. Before moving to St. Charles, IL, in 2006, she had been a daily communicant at St. Mark Catholic Church in Boynton Beach, FL, where she served as a sacristan and Eucharistic minister. Faith, family and friends were the center of Mrs. Brown's very active life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; brothers Joseph and Kenneth Foohey; and sister Marita F. Coccia. Mrs. Brown is survived by her sister-in-law, Elsie Foohey; son Robert A. Schultze; nieces Mary Beth Tarantino, Judy Menkowski and Susie Mack; nephews Mark, Regis and John Coccia and James Foohey; several grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews. Her family and many friends will greatly miss her love and generous spirit. Services will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, Boynton Beach, FL, on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at Boynton Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, FL, 561-734-5600, on Friday, Sept. 11, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 N.E. 4th Ave., Boynton Beach, FL 33435.
