Dominick N. Ruggiano, age 92, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on March 6, 2026. Dominick was born in Newark, NJ, to Frances Iglio Ruggiano and Dominick Ruggiano.
Dom attended West Side High School where he was a quarterback for the football team. He had a close bond with his siblings, Mike, Nick, and Marie.
Dominick joined the Army and served as a Private First Class during the Korean War.
Back in the States, Dom held an owner/operator business in the trucking industry and drove for Baldwin Steel.
Dom was married to Susan in 1963. They had a daughter, Christina. With Susan, he purchased a summer home in Ocean City where the family made many happy memories. After an amicable separation, Dom met Angie and they shared many joyful years together.
In retirement, Dominick enjoyed the Florida sun, watching horse races, exercising, and playing cards with his friends and neighbors. He always loved music and will be thought of for whistling and singing throughout the day.
Always charismatic and engaging, Dominick will be remembered and cherished for his willingness to listen, his clear common-sense advice, generosity, and wit. May God bless him and keep his spirit alive in our hearts as he rests in peace.
Dominick is survived by his daughter Christina and her husband Michael; his grandchildren Brigit and Cecilia; his brother Mike; nieces and nephews; mother of his daughter, Susan; long-time companion Angie, her family, and grandsons.
A viewing and funeral mass will be held in NJ near Christina's home.
