Doug is survived by his wife, Kendra; two sons, Steve French and Matt Balser; 4 grandchildren Robert, Benjamin, Helanna and Colton; and two brothers, Garl and Keith Balser.

He was a member of the American Legion Post#0047 in Lake Worth, FL and a Coach with the Young American Bowling Alliance.

A Memorial Service will be held 6pm Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach. Friends may arrive beginning 5:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
