Elizabeth "Bette" Salerno Freeman, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL, now residing in Mt. Juliet, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Bette was born July 12, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ to George and Mary Salerno.  On April 29, 1967 she married Bill Freeman, her loving husband of 56 years.  Together they raised Will and Stephanie, moving to Orlando in the 80s. They moved to Boynton Beach in the early 2000s.

Bette was a faithful servant of God and very active in the Catholic church.

Bette is joined in Heaven by her parents and her brothers George and James. Left to cherish her memory are Bill; her son Will (Cayley) Freeman of Mt. Juliet,TN and daughter Stephanie (David) Bixby of Nashville, TN; granddaughters Aspyn Freeman, Kendall Bixby and Sydney Bixby; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Monday, January 8, 2024 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach followed by interment at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, FL.
