Emma H. Naumann, aged 102, passed away on July 25, 2015. Emma was born in Pekin, IL, the daughter of the deceased Emma Mary and Carl Bottin. In 1934, Emma married William L. Naumann and they eventually moved to Peora, IL, where she lived until her husband's retirement. Since retirement, she has resided in Delray Beach, FL. Her husband, William, with the support of Emma, rose through the ranks at Caterpillar Tractor Co. to retire as its Chairman/CEO. Mrs. Naumann sacrificed her early career to become a loving wife and mother and her involvement in both her husband's career and the rearing of their two children provided her with a rich and fulfilling life.
Emma is preceded in death by her husband, William Louis Naumann, and by her brother, Albert Bottin. She is survived by her son William C. Naumann and his wife Patricia, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren, by her daughter Virginia Gold and her husband Martin Gold and by her sister-in-law Marilyn Bottin and two nieces.
Emma will be interred at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria, IL.
