Age 84 of Boynton Beach, FL died peacefully Tuesday, January 22, 2013, with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Chief Master Sergeant Arnold E. Van Meter, US Air Force (Ret.). Evelyn is survived by her children, Vicki L. (Jeff) Price, Richard L. Van Meter, Terri J. (Charlie) Black, and Ronald A. (Lisa Brunswick) Van Meter; her grandchildren Jennifer Price, Rebecca (Josh) Stewart, Emily (Brandon) Granados, Robert J. Akridge, Elizabeth Brunswick, and Bonnie Van Meter; her great-grandchildren Ethan, Emma, and Elijah Stewart and Anthony and Alysia Granados; and her sister, Shirley Powell. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Monday, January 28, 2013, at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm at the funeral home with interment to follow at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth. Those who wish may make contributions to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
