Age 90 of Boynton Beach died Friday, February 10, 2017. He had lived in the area since 1957, worked as a Letter Carrier for the USPS Downtown Station, 33435, President of the NALC Local Union and a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

Fred was born in Jersey City, NJ on September 4, 1926 to Kate (Kelly) and Christian Menk. He served his country in the U.S. Army and helped to publish the Stars and Stripes Newspaper while stationed in Japan. Fred enjoyed golf and bowling and will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lillian Way Menk and his beloved daughter, Judy Menk Morrison. Fred is survived by three daughters, Kathy Sullivan, Wendy Sarkkinen and Laurie Morrison; son-in-laws, Lou Morrison, James Sullivan, Les Sarkkinen and Sonny Morrison; six Grandchildren, Jeanette Sullivan Moore, Tanya Lynn Morrison, Lisa Sullivan Noel, C.D. Morrison, Aaron Morrison and Eric Morrison; five great-grandchildren, Trevor,Kyle, Julie, Gianna and Jillian; and one great-great-grandchild, Skyler.

A visitation will be held 6-8pm Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Boynton Beach followed by burial at Boynton Beach Memorial Park.
