Gary B. Banker, 44, of Boynton Beach, died Tuesday, May 31st 2022 at home after a long illness.

Gary was born January 27th, 1978 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Gary Chadwick and Gail Harris. Gary spent many years in Kansas after high school before deciding to move to Maine. He worked for many years as a laboratory technician in various healthcare roles. Once receiving his Associates Degree in Business, he hit the road to Florida to pursue a new adventure.

Gary was always the life of the party, had an infectious smile, sense of humor and was well loved by everyone he met. In his spare time, he loved to be with his niece and nephew being the biggest kid on the playground. Time off to him meant it was time for an adventure. Gary had the most charismatic personality, was a stranger to no one, the friend that you hadn't met yet, and didn't know you needed

He was preceded in death by his dad Steven Banker. He is survived by his mother; brother, Andrew Banker; his new found love and partner Jennifer De Gruccio; former spouse, Brooke Banker; sister (non-biological), Deborah and her spouse Jason Leighton. He is also survived by an extended list of friends that he considered family.

A service will be held in the near future with details to follow. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date to be held for friends in Maine later this summer. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Gary may be made to the American Red Cross.
