Age 85 of Boynton Beach passed away July 13, 2018. He moved to this area in 1988 coming from Pittsburgh, PA. George served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  A very generous man, George would do anything for anyone and never complain.

He was a loving husband of 58 years to his wife, Patricia; a loving father to his daughters, Laurie Andrea and Lynn Bender; grandfather to Jackie, Alyssa, Nathan and Stephanie. Also surviving are his brother, Henry "Bud" Braun, sister, Barbara McGrosky, brother, James Braun and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at St. Thomas More Church, 10935 S. Military Trail, Boynton Beach. Interment will be private at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
