Glen Phipps, age 73, of Delray Beach passed away November 25, 2020. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to parents Maurice Phipps and Lillian Broadwick, both deceased and was an only child. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet (Gailey), of 45 years and 10 rescue cats.

After graduation from the University of Maryland, he entered the pension actuary field from which he eventually retired. Glen and Janet met as fellow keepers at the Baltimore Zoo and have always shared common interests; scuba diving was their passion after moving to Delray Beach in 1986.

He had a love of music and played the guitar. In later years, he and Janet played duplicate bridge enjoying many tournaments. In addition, they rescued and gave a loving home to senior and special needs kitties. H will always be remembered as a gentle person with a sharp sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew
him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, West Palm Beach, for their cat programs or the American Contract Bridge League's Education Foundation.
