Gordon E. Jackson, 67, of Delray Beach, FL died on April 6, 2015 from a long-term battle with cancer at Bethesda Hospital East. Gordon was born in Troy, NY to Delores and the late John O. Jackson. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Sandra (Gagnon), son Jonathan, daughter Michelle, grandsons Trent and Troy, brother Ronald, sister Donna and beloved feline companion Thomas. Gordon was proud to have served in the U.S. Air Force. He was well known as owner-operator of Gordon's Service Center of Clifton Park, NY before relocating to Florida in 1988. Gordon will be remembered for his extreme knowledge in the automotive field, love for classic cars, drag racing, talented poetry writing and most of all the devotion to his family. A memorial service with military honors will be held 6pm Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Boynton Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 5pm.
