Helen M. Cuchna (nee Cintula) 94 of Boynton Beach, Florida formerly of Boca Raton, Florida and North Olmsted, Ohio passed away peacefully on
April 5, 2022. Helen who was born on December 24,1927 in North Royalton, Ohio to Ignatius & Anna Cintula. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years Franklyn Cuchna; brothers Joseph Cintula, John Cintula and Rev. Frank Cintula; sister Mary Scott.
She is survived by daughters Christine (late Alan) Chiara, Francine (Jim) Wellock, Faye (R.T,) McConnell, Constance Cuchna; sons Franklyn (Judy Swan)Cuchna and Logan (Mary) Cuchna. Seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Helen met her husband at a roller rink and they enjoyed roller skating for many years. In addition, they both loved dancing, golfing and bowling. While living in Bent Tree she began playing Bocce and even entered tournaments. Helen is a former member of Springvale Country Club in North Olmsted and Boca Del Mar Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. Helen was a devoted wife and full time homemaker making any occasion special.
She raised her six children with love and tenderness and was adored by her grandchildren. She loved sewing and making clothes for her family.
Her works of embroidery and ceramics are special keepsakes for family and friends. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Her family will miss her deeply and cherish their special memories of her. To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.
The family will have a private Memorial service.
