In loving memory of Dr. Iluminado "Bing" Nebab

Dr. Iluminado "Bing" Nebab, a beacon of light in our lives, passed away on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 at the age of 86. Born on August 1st, 1937 he dedicated his life to medicine and made a lasting impact on countless lives.

A highly respected Physiatrist, Dr. Nebab's commitment to his patients went beyond the clinic, embodying compassion and empathy. His contributions to Harlem Hospital and King's County hospital will be remembered as he leaves behind a legacy of healing and care.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bing had a passion for music, whether playing piano, whistling, or crooning like Bing Crosby (hence the nickname). He was an avid mahjong player, spending much of his time playing with friends. He also enjoyed gardening and cultivating his fruits and vegetables. For the past 10 years in Florida, he especially loved spending his mornings with friends at the beach.

A loving father, husband, and friend, he touched the hearts of those around him with his humor, wisdom, and warmth. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Nebab, his former wife Dr. Virgilia G. Nebab, and his children: Emmanuel, Peter and his wife Mary, Cecilia and her husband Dave, Andrew, Bianca, Eric, Lauren, Danielle and her husband Michael, Joanna and her husband Rommel. He also enjoyed spending time with his 10 grandchildren, who will cherish the memories of his kindness, generosity, and strength. In this time of sorrow, we remember Dr. Iluminado "Bing" Nebab as a guiding light, forever in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Boynton Beach and a mass will also follow in NJ:
