INGRID EDITH FRINK

Age 99, long-time resident of Boynton Beach, Florida died on November 15, 2015. Mrs. Frink was born in Jersey City, NJ to Carl Wilhelm and Edith Sophie (Engstrom) Hubbinette. Mrs. Frink was a graduate of the Lansingburgh High School and the Russell Sage College, both in Troy, NY, where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. teaching degree (French major and Spanish minor). Following graduation in 1939, she moved to Washington DC working briefly as a hostess before being employed as a translator for the Federal Communications Commission until marrying Harry Frink on Nov 17, 1942. Ingrid and Harry moved to Mission Kansas, where their two sons were born and later to Schenectady New York, where Harry worked for Behr-Manning Company in Watervliet, NY. Ingrid and Harry retired to Boynton Beach Florida in 1974 and established residence in Leisureville where they pursued their love of the beach, bridge and being active members of the community.

Ingrid is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Frink, March 20, 2005 but is survived by two sons, Robert A. Frink and wife Judy of Cartersville, GA and William A. Frink and wife Patricia of Conroe, TX. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Brad, Brianna, Melissa, Brian and Michael Frink and eight great-grandchildren: Anthony and Dominic Piano, Kaylynn, Benjamin and Charlotte Frink, Audrey Frink and Jade and Chloe Hermans.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the BOYNTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 800 West Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL. An inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Troy, NY.
