J. Gerald Smith of Boynton Beach passed away September 21, 2016 at the age of 82. Gerald was born in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England on November 22, 1933 and served in the Royal Air Force as a mechanic before obtaining his credentials as an Automotive Engineer. He immigrated to Canada in 1963 with his family and later relocated to the United States where he eventually settled in Boynton Beach.

Gerald was known as a free spirit that brought happiness and light to all that he knew. His reputation for having a big heart and a smile on his face will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife Eloise; brothers Raymond and John; sons Nigel (Kieu-Oanh), Kevin (Dania), Andrew; Step Children Carlo (Tracy), Adriana (Robert), Rick; fourteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

As a family, nothing will ever fill the hole that is left with the passing of our Husband, Brother, Father, and Grandfather.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 am until service time.
