Age 61, of Boca Raton, FL, died Sunday afternoon, July 21, 2013. Dr. Byrnes was Chief of Staff at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach. He was the son of Virginia and the late Edward Byrnes of Laurel, NY. He is also survived by three brothers, Jack, Richard, and Tom, and his partner Anthony Reyes. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday and Wednesday, July 23rd & 24th, at BOYNTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 800 West Boynton Beach Blvd, Boynton Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday, July 25th, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach. Further services will take place in Cutchogue, NY.
