Obituary

James (Jim) Martin Peelman, 71, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on 3-5-2021 of complications from a fall. Born in Riverside, NJ to the late Martin and Anna Peelman (nee Morley), Jim was a kind, thoughtful gentleman who loved his family and friends. Jim was proud to be an Eagle Scout and a graduate of St. Joseph's Univ. (BS) and Temple Univ. (MBA) in Phila, PA, not to mention a diehard Eagles, Flyers and Phillies fan. Jim started his career at FMC in Philly and, drawn to Florida's warm weather, began his second career as a Senior Finance and Reporting Accountant at Cemex in West Palm Beach, from which he retired in 2018.  Jim was a runner, a gardener, an Elvis fan, and an avid beachgoer.  Jim enjoyed traveling the world and volunteering to help sea turtles.  He loved music, museums and going to the theater. Jim is survived by: Doranne (Selnekovic Verellen), his beloved wife of 27 years; three sisters: Anne Marie Kelley (John), Kathleen  Belko (Raymond), and Diane Blackburn (Scott); four children Colleen Renzi (Mark), Damon Verellen (Stephanie), Drew Verellen (Sabrina Du Bois), and Kevin Peelman (Jennifer); seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
