On January 15, 2021 James Richard Senicola, loving and devoted son of Annette and James Senicola, brother of Cara Ann Senicola, and fiance to Nicole Catapano passed away at the age of 35. James was born and raised in Franklin Square New York and attended undergraduate college at Nazareth and graduate school at Adelphi University. He was a beloved 4th grade teacher at Manatee Elementary School. James was a selfless person. His passion was taking care of others, especially Nikki, his students, friends, and his precious dog Luna. Weekends were often spent playing frisbee with Luna by the lake, relaxing at home watching shows, listening to podcasts, and helping his parents around the house. James loved trying new recipes and sharing it with those he loved.
James's kind and compassionate spirit will live on to help future students at Manatee Elementary School through the "James Richard Senicola Scholarship for Math and Science Enrichment." In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by contributing to his scholarship fund. Hyperlink to follow.
