Jane D. Crook, age 95, of Sebastian, Florida passed away in Tennessee on Thursday, February 15, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Crook and grandson, Michael Borovik. Survived by daughter Sandra Orf; son, David Franklin; grandchildren, Julie Porter (Jeff), Dawn Smith (Chris), Jamie Franklin (Dawn), Judy Borovik, Ryan Franklin and Trish Franklin; 16 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Jane was born in Amherst, Ohio in 1922 and was a resident of Palm Beach County for 50 plus years. She worked for Drs. Schoaff & Carter of Atlantic Avenue Eye Care in Delray Beach as a licensed Optician. She and Jim enjoyed square dancing and loved being with family.

After retiring, Jane relocated to Sebastian, Florida and Indian River County. After some time of failing health, she went to the care of granddaughter, Julie in Tennessee. She will be missed by a host of family and friends who loved her for her outgoing, loving and vibrant personality. She was known fondly as 'Wild Thing".

Interment services will be held 11am, Monday, February 26, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL.
