Age 82, of Boynton Beach, passed away on March 22, 2013. Her husband, Tom Ryan, preceded her in death. She was born in Rochester, NY on November 26, 1930, to Walter and Marion Brown. After a wonderful childhood in Endicott, NY and loyal employment with IBM, Jane met and married Thomas A Ryan. They shared 54 memorable years. Jane was involved in a variety of organizations throughout the years. Most notably she dedicated herself to her Catholic Church, decades of community service to the School PTA, Elections, Scouting and more. Jane shared her gift of Calligraphy as an Adult Education Instructor, her gift of giving as a volunteer for Ronald McDonald House Charities and doted on her family and friends. She was sure to always have a warm meal, clean home and loving touch for those she loved. As Grandma, Jane crossed many miles to create cherished memories of moments spent with her grandchildren. She was the sister of Carol Ann Abbott (Deceased) and Rev. Mathew Brown. She was the loving mother of Thomas (Pam) grandchildren Sarah, Nolan and Jack, Timothy, Tracey (John) grandchildren Kelsey, Lindsey and Annie, Patty (Dave) grandchildren Zack and Alana, Dianne (Tim) grandchildren Courtney and Connor.
Friends may call from 2-4pm & 6-8pm Monday, March 25th, at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Tuesday, March 26th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10935 South Military Trail Boynton Beach, FL. Burial will be at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
