Jane was born, Jane Zimmerman on November 14, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She moved from Pittsburgh to Boynton Beach in 1979 after her husband Steve retired. Steve passed in 1994. Jane was the oldest daughter of Harriet and Fred Zimmerman, and had six siblings. She was predeceased by her brothers Jack, Jim, and Joe Zimmerman, sisters Jean Sprung, Judy Jones, and survived by her sister, Joyce Yoch.
Jane is survived by her loving children Jan Lautenbach (Wellington, FL), Chuck (Parkland, FL), Pam (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), Nick (Boynton Beach, FL) and stepson, Steve, Jr. (Bonita Springs, FL). Her son, Mike (Delray Beach, FL) predeceased her. Her surviving grandchildren are Jim and Jacie Eber, Stevie, Cassie, Brittany and Ali Tepsic, and great grandchildren Landon and Carys Eber. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jane volunteered at Bethesda Hospital Bargin Box for several years. While married, she and Steve traveled frequently, which Jane loved. Jane was kind hearted and dedicated to her family and all their friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Jane's aide, who was her Earth Angel, Dr. Stanley Hopkins and Dr. Gregory Weatherford.
